Grant Application and Process

Do you have an idea for your classroom or school in the Fulton Public School District? Let us help you make your ideas a reality! All Pre-K-12 teachers and other certificated staff of Fulton Public Schools are eligible for these grants.

Award Availability and Range: $1,000 and $500 grants will be awarded for the 2024-2025 school year.
Application Deadline: Tuesday, February 20, 2024 Applications must be received at CO by 4:00
p.m.

Notification of Recipients: Recipients will be notified by the beginning of April, 2024 following the
application deadline. Recipients can hopefully attend the annual FPS End of the Year Gathering May,
2024 when grants are officially announced and photos taken.

Applicant Eligibility Mini Classroom Grant: Pre-K-12 teachers and other certificated staff of Fulton
Public Schools may apply for the grants.
Grant Requirements:
▪ Projects should support the instructional curriculum, encourage academic achievement, and
enhance learning opportunities for the participating students.
▪ Projects may be during or outside the regular school day.
▪ Projects may be submitted for individual classroom, grade levels, departments, or building.
▪ All employees and volunteers with the Fulton Public Schools (including instructors/tutors through
this grant) are subject to a background check.
▪ Continuation grants can be awarded for up to a total of three years.
▪ Grant recipient(s) must attend the 2025 Fulton Public Schools Foundation Gala to exhibit the
grant project and results. One ticket per grant will be provided free of charge.
Applicant Eligibility Ed and Jean Avra Classroom History Grant: High School History teacher,
grades 9-12 of Fulton High School may for the grant.
Grant Requirements:
▪ Project should support and benefit students in the content area of history at the high school level,
grades 9-12. The project should complement the instructional curriculum, encourage academic
achievement, and enhance learning opportunities for the participating students in a history class.
▪ Project may be during or outside the regular school day.
▪ Project may be submitted for individual classroom, grade levels, departments, or building.
▪ All employees and volunteers with the Fulton Public Schools (including instructors/tutors through
this grant) are subject to a background check.
▪ Continuation grants can be awarded for up to a total of three years.
▪ Grant recipient(s) must attend the Fulton Public Schools Foundation Gala to exhibit the grant
