Classroom Grants
It is suggested that educators apply for amounts of $1000 or $500 for their idea, however other amounts will be considered.

  • Projects should support the instructional curriculum, encourage academic achievement, and enhance learning opportunities for the participating students. Before including transportation for field trips as a granted budget item, applicants should check with their principal to make sure that short field trips may already be covered in the normal district budget. This frees up funds for other special grants projects. The district may already have funds to cover curricular field trips if you ask.
  • Projects may be during or outside the regular school day. Extra duty stipends are not grant budget inclusions.
  • Projects may be submitted for individual classrooms, grade levels, departments, or buildings.
  • All employees and volunteers with the Fulton Public Schools involved in the implementation of the grant are subject to a background check, as required of all volunteers & staff within the district.
  • Continuation grants can be awarded for up to a total of three years.
  • Grant recipient(s) will attend the Fulton Public Schools Foundation Gala to exhibit the
grant project and results. One ticket per grant will be provided free of charge.
